Our Product Faqs
Are your products natural?
Our products are formulated using thoughtfully sourced, plant-based ingredients selected for their compatibility with the body and respect for the land. We focus on simplicity, integrity, and ingredients that are recognizable and well-considered.
What to Expect
The Garden of Truth moves at a different pace.
Our products and services are created and offered with intention, allowing care to be prepared thoughtfully rather than rushed. Below is what you can expect when ordering or visiting the Garden.
What We Offer
- Small-batch botanical products for daily care
- Limited facial & back facial rituals offered weekly
- Care that is never rushed and always intentional
How long does it take to prepare my order?
All products are made fresh in small batches on scheduled production days (about twice per month). Please allow up to 10 days for preparation before pickup or shipment. This allows each offering to be created with care, attention, and integrity.
Can I pick up my order locally?
Yes. Select Local Pickup at checkout. Once your order is prepared, you will receive a notification with pickup details. Orders are available for pickup at our shop and spa location in Albuquerque, NM, where they are made fresh.
Pickup notifications are sent as soon as your order is ready—please wait for confirmation before arriving.
Do you offer shipping?
Yes. Select Shipping at checkout. Orders ship once they are prepared, and you’ll receive tracking when they’re on the way.
Why are your products made in small batches?
We make products in small batches to preserve freshness, quality, and consistency. This allows us to prepare each offering with care rather than mass production or rush.
Are your products meant to heal medical conditions?
Our products are created to support daily care and restorative ritual. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace medical care, nor do they promise healing outcomes. Care here is gentle, consistent, and meant to support the body over time.
Are your products suitable for all skin types?
Our formulations are designed to be gentle and supportive for a wide range of skin types. However, every body is different. We encourage patch testing and listening to how your skin responds.
Are your products tested on animals?
No. Our products are never tested on animals.
Do you use glass packaging?
Yes. We choose glass whenever possible to honor the integrity of the ingredients and the long-term relationship between care, the body, and the environment.
What is your return policy?
Because our products are made fresh in small batches, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on opened or used items. Once a product has been opened, it cannot be resold or reused.
We encourage reviewing ingredient lists carefully and performing a patch test prior to full use, especially if you have sensitivities.
What if I experience a reaction?
Every body responds differently to botanical ingredients. While our formulations are designed to be gentle and supportive, we are not responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivities. Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional if needed.
What if my item arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We’re happy to offer an exchange for the same product once the damage is confirmed.

Our Services Faqs
What services do you offer?
We offer a limited number of facial and back facial rituals each week. Services are designed as restorative experiences, never rushed, and offered with full presence and attention.
How do I book a service?
Appointments are available by reservation and are first come, first served as availability allows. Availability is shared when open, and spaces are intentionally limited. Please send us an email truth@thegardenoftruth.com with name and service requested.
Why are services offered in limited availability?
We limit the number of services offered each week to ensure care is given with intention and presence. This allows each client to be fully supported without overbooking or rush.
Do I need a deposit to book?
Yes. A deposit is required to reserve your appointment and is applied to your service total.
What is your cancellation policy?
A deposit is required to reserve your appointment and is applied to your service total. We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, result in forfeiture of the deposit.
This policy honors the time, preparation, and care reserved for each service.
What should I expect during my service?
Each service is approached as a ritual rather than a treatment. You can expect a slower pace, thoughtful touch, and the use of our small-batch botanical products. Services are designed to support relaxation and restoration.
Are your services results-focused?
Our services prioritize restoration, comfort, and consistency over aggressive correction. While many clients notice positive changes over time, we do not promise immediate or dramatic results.
Are services a replacement for medical or dermatological care?
No. Our services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or replace medical care. They are designed to support the body gently and respectfully.
What products are used during services?
We use our house-formulated, small-batch botanical products during services. Many of these offerings are available for purchase for continued care at home.
What happens if I arrive late to my appointment?
We ask that you arrive on time to receive the full benefit of your service. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened or respectfully cancelled, depending on the schedule that day. The deposit will be forfeited, as time has been reserved specifically for you.
This allows us to maintain a calm, unrushed experience for every client.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
We invite you to arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in, complete any necessary paperwork, and begin your experience at a calm pace. This time allows you to unwind, ask questions, and enjoy a warm cup of Navajo tea before your service begins.
Arriving early helps the body and nervous system transition into rest, so your time in the Garden can be received fully and without rush.
